We nearly got blown away in the Town Square today but man, it was worth it. We even got in some garage glamour as like to call it. Sure is easy when your subject is handsome and easy going!

Vegas bound!

We are thrilled to be heading out to Vegas again this year for the annual Wedding and Portrait Photographers International convention! I will be training with Kirk Voclain, a seriously awesome photographer of high school seniors and a whole host of other instructors that shoot everything from boudois to pets and weddings.
I am also salivating over the latest Canon camera that has everyone buzzing in our industry. It's the Canon 5D Mark II with video capabilities but is still an SLR so you get to use your variety of lenses to shoot or video. Think about it...not only can I freeze that moment in time for you but now I can record your child speaking or singing or laughing and combine them both in a DVD presentation. FANTASTICO...

Mardi Gras Lafayette 2010

We had a ball home in Lafayette with the boys this past weekend! Never got out of the 40s but we toughed it out.
We always visit USL campus with the boys. This is the swamp on the grounds.This was in the hotel that night before we took the pounds of beads off our necks! I bet we have close to 500 beads from just two parades!

New Website is LIVE today!

We are SO excited to announce that the 2010 website went live this morning! The home page has a flash movie showing off the Best of 2009. It was so hard to select the images that would make the cut.
Happy New Year to you all as well. I realize the blog hasn't been posted to in a while. Once the Christmas season came (Sept, Oct, and Nov for us), I was shooting anywhere from 15-20 sessions a week consistently and my staff was on the ball editing and designing. It was great to see how the children have grown since last year's session.
I am also still recovering from surgery on Dec 1st and 3rd, so it's been a busy season. Glad to have a fresh start to the new year!
