I wanted to write a message to my faithful followers about the last four days of my life in New Orleans at the Image X workshop. I cannot begin to describe how phenomenal and important these days were to how I see the business as it is now and where I would like it to go. Can't leave out the fact that we had two days worth of on location shooting in the streets/natural light down to the wine cellars below restaurants in the French Quarter. Two of my three favorite instructors worldwide were there and everything we did was small group which allowed for everyone to be on real level about lighting, composition, editing, marketing, etc. We merged with the videographer's conference and had our own little second line through the streets with a jazz band, beads, etc the last night we were there. After the party, we did light painting until 1am in Jackson St square, a super cool new technique done only on tripod using flashlights and buzzed photographers. haha
I hope to post images soon but for now, I am two weddings and three portrait sessions and multiple albums behind. It will be worth the wait...
