Little Madelyn

This little princess just gets more beautiful everytime I see her! Wow, those eyes...I had the honor of photographing mom and dad's wedding a while back which just makes following this family even more special.

Image X 2008

I wanted to write a message to my faithful followers about the last four days of my life in New Orleans at the Image X workshop. I cannot begin to describe how phenomenal and important these days were to how I see the business as it is now and where I would like it to go. Can't leave out the fact that we had two days worth of on location shooting in the streets/natural light down to the wine cellars below restaurants in the French Quarter. Two of my three favorite instructors worldwide were there and everything we did was small group which allowed for everyone to be on real level about lighting, composition, editing, marketing, etc. We merged with the videographer's conference and had our own little second line through the streets with a jazz band, beads, etc the last night we were there. After the party, we did light painting until 1am in Jackson St square, a super cool new technique done only on tripod using flashlights and buzzed photographers. haha
I hope to post images soon but for now, I am two weddings and three portrait sessions and multiple albums behind. It will be worth the wait...

Austin's first birthday party

Austin did so well at his party! The cake was really cool too. Happy birthday little man!

the Woolley family

This little man's eyes and smile just melted my heart. He is on the run and curious about everything! I wish all adults could remember to enjoy and see life as a child does. Can't wait to work with this beautiful family in the years to come!

the Diaz family

What a joy to see this family again! Little PR prince has grown so much and is of course running from mom and dad constantly. I wish I had an ounce of his personality! This family makes orange look amazing...

the Randolph family 2008

What fun it was to see this family again! I can hardly believe it's been a year! The children have grown so much and boy, can Mr. Little Man get around now.

the Phipps family

These guys took me up on photographing at a place that was special to them this year, their new home! I can't believe how much these little angels have grown and changed over the years too. They were so sweet in their dresses!

Clint & Suzanne

I was so honored to be the one who captured Clint and Suzanne's wedding. These two are in my LightWriter's class and they truly care about art and great photography. They gave me so many amazing details and fun moments that it was again, hard to choose some favorites tonight. Have fun in New York this week ya'll!

Brett & Allison

What a great day this was! I am so blessed to have been invited back into this family to photograph their youngest daughter's wedding. These two had so many amazing details and moments. Enjoy a few!

The sky looked amazing right before their outdoor ceremony at Briscoe Manor here in Richmond, TX.

the Sems family, urban style

My history as a photographer in Texas would not be correct without this beautiful family. Guess it's been three years now and the sessions just keep getting better. Mom took a chance on something new, an urban session in downtown Richmond. I have so many favorites and I know they will too!

Megan & Anna

I cannot believe these ladies are another year older! They are so precious and truly are the jewels of mom's eyes!
