Chasing, chasing, and more chasing

Yes, we chased handsome Luke, mainly because I think he's faster than me...what a great family!

Princess Mia...

Family fun!

I feel like I have known these guys for a while. What fun they were to photograph and what an outstanding day to shoot!

A family that I have followed...

I am so honored to be able to watch this family grow up through the lens. I think it's been close to three years now since I have known them and enjoyed photographing them as a family, as kids alone, as newborns in the nursery, etc. Maybe one day I will get to do their weddings! Isn't that why we do what we do? To make lasting memories that truly come full circle.
Not sure why but this session turned out more traditionally posed than I normally shoot which is odd because of how difficult it is to do with young children. My heart melts when I see them, so something is right.

So much fun!

I just couldn't choose my favorites, so I collaged them! These guys were rock stars and we had so much fun! Here's a collage from George Ranch and another from the Town Square.

Fun, fun, fun!

What a fun time we had with Ashley and Jeff on their engagements tonight. The weather was pristine, the couple was beautiful inside and out, and the locations were a great match for their personality. They gave me total freedom to be an artist and create. Thank you guys!

This old chapel on the grounds of George Ranch was OPEN today. I don't normally get to go in there, so I was jazzed when the doors were cracked open. Check out the way the light hit the bench they were sitting on...like a spotlight. Such a passionate moment as well...

I told them I would pick two or three of my favorites, edit them, and post to the blog tonight and I couldn't narrow it down...We have some amazing moments and there are some that I intend to do detailed graphic design on so those won't be posted for a while. Until then, enjoy!

Fredericksburg getaway weekend

Johnny and I finally got away for some much needed R&R. We froze Saturday walking around to the stores in the rain and 41 degree weather but it didn't seem to matter. We did a wine tasting and toured the Pacific War Museum. I only shot for my soul, so you won't see an entire gallery of images. Here are a couple of my favs. The Ainsley House was our darling wood floor cottage that we stayed at.

Blake is getting so big!

What a little man Blake is becoming...very handsome and very opinionated! I love watching their personalities evolve.

Scrap design

I am having WAY too much fun with graphic design lately. There are so many options...I think I would like to see these as square gallery canvas wraps. They would rock as art presentations! Would love to know your thoughts on designs like these...

Colorful cuties!

I just can't get enough of the Watson children...thank you Karen for pushing me to be more edgy and creative every time we shoot!

Sweetness!

Can't decide if I like the color or the sepia version better...either way, she is adorable!
