Let there be walls!

Lots happened in the day and a half that I didn't go out there...
If you look hard, you can see Zack and Mikey with their hard hats waving where the front doors will be. Below is the curved hallway that will be the signature wall that everyone will sign.

Tons of fun at George Ranch

I had the pleasure of photographing the yearly update series for the Schmalz family, a family I truly adore. I get to see them once a year as they live overseas. It's heartwarming to see how the kids have changed each time. I could hardly wait for them to get out of the van so I could see how they had changed. I love those tickle images!

Brooke is TWO!

I can hardly believe we photographed a two year old session for Brooke today. It's actually her birthday today and all princesses are allowed to cry if they want to, right? I felt like I could see her soul with this first image of her beautiful eyes. Happy birthday, little one!
Just imagine her saying "really?" here...it's much funnier.

The concrete slab was finally poured today!

It was definitely a big day for the Carlino family as well as for our business. After many months of plan reviews, permits, and inspections, we got to watch the trucks pour this morning. I drove up to my land and saw 7 trucks and 5 concrete mixers out there. It was quite a site! It took between 10-12 mixer loads to complete the job and when I went back out there this afternoon, the guys were smoothing it all out.
Our boys were all eyes when the pumper truck transferred the concrete up and down the long arm. Progress is a sweet thing!

You can see the step now where the 8 foot wide porch will extend off the front door. Very cool

Jessica & Robert

Wow, what a day...the nicest couple, the best dancing crowd I have seen in years, great weather, and just a whole lot of things that went really well. I so enjoyed working with these two and all their family and friends, especially when I knew a good amount of them already. Ya'll have some FAB memories!

My guys

Aren't they all too cute? Scratch kitty is our refugee that I adopted on a bridal shoot a little over a year ago. He had just woken up from a nap so I couldn't get his attention to save my life. People who do pet photography have my respect for sure!

Jake turns SIX

Total fun was had by all at Sugar Land Tae Kwon Do today! All boys, lots of sugar, and fighting...
Pretty cool to get to cut your cake with the sword though! Happy birthday, Jake!

Landon & Caden turn ONE!

Everyone made it through the first year....congrats ya'll !

The heat is on!

It's so summer time south of Houston. ugh It's still 89 degrees at 10pm around here so there is no "wait till the sun sets more for it to be cooler" type of session these days. Alas, watching the Snelling family cut up last night made it all worthwhile. They were a riot to say the least.

Six Flags San Antonio

Oh yeah, you know it...I fell for the camera man at the gates over the 4th at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I wasn't about to lug my gear on the rides and around the heat of the park that day. Maybe one day we will get to ride the BIG rides.

Reese at Rice

It finally cooled off near the end of this session with the Beheler boys. Weren't they just so handsome? And so big!
