the Sems family, urban style

My history as a photographer in Texas would not be correct without this beautiful family. Guess it's been three years now and the sessions just keep getting better. Mom took a chance on something new, an urban session in downtown Richmond. I have so many favorites and I know they will too!

Megan & Anna

I cannot believe these ladies are another year older! They are so precious and truly are the jewels of mom's eyes!

Welcome baby Emmersyn!

World, meet Emmersyn! I am in love with her long fingers and toes for sure. Mommy had the cutest outfits already...good to see the color pink in the Wleczyk house!

Sweet Carolyn...

What a lucky girl I am to be able to see two new babies this week! This is Carolyn and she is five weeks young now. Mom has wood floors and dark brown leather couches with loads of window light so you know I was lovin' this location shoot!

Happy Birthday, Sweet Ava!

Ava did so well at her party Sunday. I guess one day mom and dad will tell her how it had to be postponed due to the storm. The BBQ rocked and we all got our sweet fix with snowcones, dirt cake, and cupcakes. What a cutie pie!

Tripp takes on Enchanted Forest!

This green image melts my heart. His eyes are so beautiful and when mom brought out that great hat, I knew I had to find even more green to make a wow image! This little man is getting so big and walking everywhere!

The beauty before the beast...

Hello to everyone! Power has finally been restored for the Carlino's and we are surely the fortunate ones. We have minor damage at our home and at the studio but no flooding and the AC is on. My heart breaks for those in Galveston and Surfside and downtown Houston areas. What a horrible thing to happen to a city of millions. Gas and groceries are extremely limited. Signs & fences are down, trees are everywhere. We had 80 mph winds here Friday night but the most beautiful sunset happened before the storm rolled in. I took these on my street facing west. The third one has our house on the bottom right side which faces the Gulf so things were very dark that way already. The last two photos capture what you can do with kids when there is no power...make s'mores over a fuel can!

Drew is definitely on the run!

This little man is SO determined to practice his walking skills! We have officially entered the chasing phase! He is so precious though... Check out this new tint called Blue Dawn on the first photo.

the Ognoskie family

I so enjoyed meeting these guys and playing around Pecan Park with Mr. Little Man. He will be running before mom and dad know it!

Ava is ONE (well, almost...)

It's getting close and boy can she run away fast now! I am so in love with this first BW image because it truly tells what these parents go through during this crazy phase of life. Can't wait to see what you do with your candle next Saturday

Sweet newborn-ness...

Yeah, it's not a real word (newborn-ness) but I love saying it. What a sweet little guy I had the priviledge to work with this morning. He is two weeks now and still has his cord attached. I love new life!

He is the first baby to be photographed on my latest antique store find, the weight scale!
