Elliana is two!

It's beyond hard to believe that sweet Kinley is five years old. This is Carlino's freelance photographer Carrie's youngest daughter and she definitely knew how to bring it to the shoot...

Fun moments from Saturday's studio sessions

Well the weather last Saturday made us all glad that Carlino's now offers the option of an indoor gorgeous studio space.

Check out Hayden enjoying a favorite position! This is sweet Caroline whose eyes are so heart warming.

This is my first ever session on the gorgeous brown/earth toned hand painted canvas combined with my awesome wood flooring in the main camera room. These images just came out stunning with the blue that the Pilcik family wore. Brayden is growing up so fast and was full of smiles that day.

Welcome Hunter Lane Bienek!

Hunter made his grand entrance a bit too early but is healthy in spite of it. What a great newborn session this was and the very first session (except for my boys of course!) in the new camera room at the studio. I am loving the bronze versions of the images with the black background. I was lucky enough to have photographed Marisa and Chris's engagements, her bridals, and their wedding day so I am truly honored to have them return with their firstborn. It really brings it full circle for me.

WPPI two day class in Vegas

I was one of the lucky few to get a spot in Kevin and Alycia's Rings to Rattles two day plus class this year. Live shoots indoors and out, PS tips, marketing ideas, and two very willing folks who just love photography sharing their knowledge...it was definitely a great way to spend two full days. I am on the left side near the bottom in a dark green shirt. whoo hooo

Sweet Harper

I cannot believe she is 7 weeks already! We did a lot of window light playing today and even though she wasn't too happy with being the model, I think she still did a great job of looking totally sweet!

WPPI in Vegas

Convention was fantastic as usual but it was very cold this year because it was held earlier than normal. I am just not a fan of cold weather! We learned so much, from new shooting and editing techniques to marketing trends. Can't wait to share it all this year! From left to right in the photo: Alison, Heather, Crystal, and Kathleen.

Alex was SO much fun and had outstanding outfits and accessories! I am not sure I could have asked for a more fashionable senior session for the downtown Houston area. So many favs, so little time...

Vanessa, Class of '09

We had SO much fun in the Town Square yesterday with Vanessa and her friends! She was willing to try anything, even climbing into the 8ft palm tree area! What an awesome image because she was willing...

Blaire, urban style

I am so glad to be shooting again! Thank you again to all who have helped our family pull through my unexpected surgery. We are nearing completion of the studio and it's great to see it all coming together.

Yesterday and today, I had fun with toddlers, urban style. Attitude to go along with this style of photography is found easily in a two year old! I am playing around with brushes and graphic design, so enjoy!

Welcome baby Harper!

I was blessed to say hello to Harper Jane at Womens Hospital today! She was born Friday morning and is so precious....and very quiet during her mini session today! Almost like she knew it was her time to be photographed!
